Alucrom is looking for a site manager for the prestigious Älvsborg Bridge project  Do you want to lead one of Sweden's most iconic infrastructure projects? 

At Alucrom (Älvsborgsbron - Alucrom SE (https://alucrom.se/om-alucrom/alvsborgsbron/)), we are looking for a driven site manager who wants to take responsibility for the prestigious work of surface treatment of the Älvsborg Bridge. The project is complex, technically advanced, and carried out in an environment where safety, precision, and sustainability are crucial. Here, high altitudes, wind-exposed locations, and a constant flow of traffic meet – while environmental requirements are very high. When we extend the lifespan of the Älvsborg Bridge, we do so with two clear goals: minimally disturb traffic and zero emissions of hazardous waste into the Göta River. 

Phase two starts in May 2026, when the middle segment of the bridge will be surface treated. You will work closely with the Swedish Maritime Administration, the Swedish Transport Administration, and Stena Line, in a unique role in one of the country's most high-profile infrastructure projects. 

We offer permanent employment but are open to a fixed-term assignment for the right candidate.  

Your role as Site Manager 

In this role, you will lead, plan, and coordinate the work on-site. You will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency – and make sure the team has the right conditions to deliver. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Distributing tasks and following up on quality and execution 

• Leading and planning daily production 

• Participating in long-term planning for the project's various phases 

• Planning staffing and approving time reports

• Ensuring correct documentation and reporting 

• Following up on maintenance and repair of equipment 

• Maintaining continuous dialogue with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders

 You will also have the opportunity to work on other larger projects within Alucrom, where you collaborate with experienced project managers and a strong contracting team. 

We are looking for someone who 

• Has 3–5 years of experience as a site manager or project manager in industry, construction, or a related field 

• Is self-driven, structured, and confident in leading teams in technical and complex environments 

• Has the ability to plan, prioritize, and drive multiple tasks simultaneously 

• Holds a valid driver's license (requirement) 

• Has good computer skills and strong communication skills in Swedish and English 

• Experience in advanced surface treatment or FROSIO certification is an advantage
